3-things for mental health
During the course of therapy, I encourage people to find their “3 things” and commit to them in a more intentional way. These might be three actions, experiments, attitudes or habits. Things that you know could be good for you, and are simple to start. This approach can reliably change your perspective and your emotional state; and offer a renewed energy to do the longer and heavier work of deep therapeutic change.
3-things for mental health is a monthly email of ideas, resources, strategies and research. It you need inspiration to find your “3 things” check out previous issues, or sign up to receive a new short-list once a month.
Improving mental health and wellbeing is often a complex, unique and non-linear journey. Please trust your own wisdom to filter any advice or information that doesn't feel right for you.
If you have a persistent mental health concern, personal crisis, difficult transition, significant loss, relationship issue or facing a challenging life situation - you may benefit from individualised support from one of our psychologists.
